Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Minnie's Pantry Hub (the "Service"), operated by Minnie's Food Pantry ("Minnie's," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2. Use of the Service

The Service is provided to help Minnie's Food Pantry manage clients, households, visits, verifications, and volunteer activity. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
  • Access or attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security or integrity of the Service;
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others, or for any unlawful purpose.

3. Accuracy of Information

Eligibility for pantry services may depend on the information you provide. Providing inaccurate or fraudulent information may result in suspension of services or termination of your account.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Minnie's Food Pantry. The following terms apply to our messaging program (the "Minnie's Pantry Hub Messaging Program"):

  1. When you opt in, you may receive SMS messages related to your use of the pantry, such as appointment and check-in confirmations, visit and eligibility reminders, verification status updates, and—for volunteers—shift reminders and scheduling notifications.
  2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number from which you received our messages. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
  3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@minniesfoodpantry.org.
  4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the pantry. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
  6. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our Privacy Policy.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, features, and branding, is owned by Minnie's Food Pantry or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Minnie's Food Pantry and its staff, volunteers, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
